The Bergman Festival was established by the Royal Dramatic Theatre (Dramaten) in 2009 to highlight contemporary theatre arts, both national and international, by presenting performances from around the world that were in the spirit of Ingmar Bergman. The Obama Victory Speech Project bought practitioners from Holland, Chile, Israel, Romania and the UK to respond to Barak Obama's victory speech. The production was workshopped at the National Theatre Studio and was supported by Purni Morell.
