What’s the easiest way to leave an unhappy marriage? Why, to fake one’s death of course!

Betty Rhys-Jones’ days are spent in the shadow of her philandering husband Hugh and caring for his demanding mother. On the other side of the village, Boris Plotz has been struggling to make ends meet since the flamboyant Frances Featherbed opened up a rival funeral parlour with a mission to put the ‘FUN’ in ‘FUNeral’. 10 year old Gwillie misses his mam. Soon events bring these characters together, with pitch-black comedic results. Outrageous funerals, show-stopping dancing, side splitting complications and even a fake hauntiing: this is a musical that shows life is for the living and that it’s never too late to fall in love.
